HERSHEY

Oct 17th is a day I will never forget. It was a typical beautiful sunny day in San Diego and everything appeared as normal as could be. Hershey went out for his morning walk, we grilled that day and later we went to bed at 10pm as we typically do before a work day. I woke up to a strange feeling in the bed, I knew something was wrong. I turned on the light and it appeared that Hershey was struggling to breath, he was also not able to move. It was very odd that I was able to lift him without any struggle, he could not move anything except his head. We rushed to the nearest VCA. While I drove, my husband was holding him in the back seat. I thought he was taking his last breaths. The VCA took him within 30 minutes. We asked that every test be run, the vet asked us to be prepared for the worst. They asked us to go home while they watched him overnight. We came home around 1am and I started crying thinking that we were going to lose him. We received a phone call early in the morning and all tests had come back normal with no diagnosis but he was still unable to move on his own. We decided that it was best that he be home regardless of what was happening to him. By the time we picked him up they had diagnosed him with FCE (Fibrocartilaginous Embolism- which happens when a piece of cartilage from a disk blocks blood flow to the spinal cord). We were quite fortunate that the vet technician that helped release him had experienced an FCE event with one of her dogs, otherwise we wouldn’t have had a clue what to do. As soon as we came home we began researching FCE and what steps we needed to take immediately to help him heal. Some of the treatment alternatives suggested cold laser and massage which led us to Linda and her services. We reached out to her immediately and she was at our home within two days treating Hershey. Within 4 days he was able to get up but not able to walk on his own. Linda continued to visit us every 2-3 days and at day 11 we were able to take him for a very short walk. I’ve never met someone like Linda before. She is one of the kindest, warmest and giving human beings out there. We were blessed to have found her and continue to be grateful for her services and just herself as an amazing human being. Hershey continues to see Linda, we are now at once a month. Linda is a natural born healer.

GINO

I found Linda when my kitty Gino was 3 years into his struggle with a fungal infection in his central nervous system called cryptococcus. He was still having periods of great unrest and random seizures. I will never forget him on the way home from our first treatment: he was lying down so completely – so flat– in his carrier that I could barely see him. He was resting peacefully for the first time since I could remember. We see Linda without fail every two weeks because it has been the single most restorative and life-improving thing that I can do for him. At times, she has had to bring him back from a crisis situation – managing to de-escalate an episode of unrest and achieve in him a quality of calm that none of his necessary pharmaceuticals can bring about. Linda’s beautiful heart connection to animals, her sensitivity and intuition overlaid by years of experience, her kindness and caring have changed Gino’s life and given me hope that the quality of his life CAN, does, and will continue to improve. I am forever grateful to have found her.

BEAR
Shih Tzu

BEAR

Our Shih Tzu Bear had injured his back and was diagnosed with a bulging disc that severely impacted the use of his back legs. His pain level was so bad we considered having him put down. We heard about Linda from a neighbor and decided to try cold laser to see if it would help. First off, Linda was amazing with Bear and she clearly has a passion for caring for animals. After just a few treatments Bear seemed to be in less pain and seemed to have greater strength and mobility in his rear legs. In addition to laser therapy Linda suggested some supplements that she thought might help. After a few weeks of laser treatments Bear has made an amazing recovery. He is about as pain free as an old dog can get and he has recovered 90% of his former mobility in his rear legs. Best of all he has returned to being the spicy and peppy curmudgeon that we have always loved. I feel like Bear would not have made such an amazing recovery without Linda’s help and suggestions.

RILEY
12 yr old beautiful Golden Retriever

My 12 yr old beautiful golden retriever has severe joint issues. We tried everything for Riley to help him have less pain and more mobility.  Lucky for me and Mr. Riley, we found Linda.  After Linda comes to our home and uses those miracle hands of hers, Riley benefits so much and seems to have more energy and interest in moving around.  She is so caring and compassionate besides having such great skills with using the cold laser and then giving him a wonderful massage.
My dog still is able to walk, but slowly, however, when Linda pulls up, He immediately gets excited and walks toward her knowing he will have such great loving care from Linda ….with great results.   Don’t ever give up on your dog or cat who has lost mobility and deals with pain……there is hope, as we found that out with Linda and her Miracle hands.  SHE HAS GIVEN US HOPE AND JOY!!! Emily
8 year old Pit Bull mix

In June 2017 I adopted, Emily, an 8 year old pit bull mix who exhibited some lower back and hip pain. I invited Linda to work on Emily to see if we could reduce her discomfort. At first Emily was tentative about being touched but each time she has experienced massage and laser she has allowed Linda to do more work. Linda is always careful to observe Emily’s reactions and works quietly and attentively to reduce stress and tension.

I am always impressed with Linda’s gentle touch, kindness, knowledge and careful approach. Emily is always more limber and does not appear to be in any pain following her sessions. We have had many sessions over the last 11 months. We started with more frequency but are now able to maintain with a session approximately once a month. We will definitely continue to work with Linda as a wonderful way to prevent problems as Emily ages. Thank you Linda!

Penny
9 year old German Pointer

Penny is a nine year old German pointer with lots of energy and always ready for a walk. Over the last year and half she has developed arthritis in her front leg which has caused her to slow down dramatically. On a bad day she would have to completely hold her leg up and limp on three paws to avoid putting weight on her bad leg. Linda knew Penny and I from the dog park we both go to and had noticed Penny’s limp and asked me about it, when I told her it was arthritis she asked if I would be interested in trying her laser treatment. Thank God for Linda! Since starting the laser treatments Penny is a new dog, she no longer has a limp and is back to taking long hikes and playing with her dog friends! I have been amazed at how quickly Penny responded to the laser treatment and I can not recommend it enough to anyone who has a pet. Penny loves getting her maintenance treatments and thanks to Linda, Penny gets to feel like a young pup again!

Thank you Linda!

DEE
20 year old tuxedo cat

I am approximately 20 years old and have on the most part lived a very healthy life.  I am a black and white long haired female cat.  Lately I have been suffering from throwing up and lack of appetite.  I was on a visit recently to San Diego and Linda offered to try using the laser to see if it would ease my discomfort.  After several overall body sessions and specifically around my mouth area I was able to eat more comfortably.  I have lost a number of teeth and with the pain under control I am able to look forward to meals again.  While in the area I made a visit to my vet and this has always been a traumatic experience.  The trip in the car was very upsetting to me and with the repeated laser treatments I found I felt calmer and endured the trip so much better.  I am able to jump into my chair and on my mother’s bed with much more ease. Over all I have experienced a better quality of life with laser treatments.

Love you, Dee (and Virginia)

ZANDER
12 year old Springer Spaniel

Zander is a 12 year old Springer Spaniel who has pins and plates in both legs. He also suffers from allergies and frequent ear infections. In the last few months he has been in a lot of pain and actually whines when he has to get up to sit or stand. Linda began working with Zander with massage and cold laser. After 3 sessions I noticed a significant change in his attitude, energy and comfort level. He seems like a new dog and is definitely more alert and happy. Zander LOVES his massages with Linda and he moans and smiles with relief. Linda is very knowledgeable and has also helped us by providing information regarding nutrition and natural solutions for Zander’s allergies and skin problems. Our experience working with Linda has been positively amazing!
